Cocke Hall corner

This building (I have other images of it that show the whole building) is Cocke Hall, built much later than the original structures around the Lawn. It was built in 1898, and was designed by Stanford White of McKim, Mead & White, a very important influence on American architecture.

 

I shot this image because Ian seems fascinated by corners (I wish more of my architecture students were!) and this is an interesting solution to a corner.
