Home studio recording

I had to use thick blankets to reduce the room's reverberation (it doesn't sound right).

I used Reaper for recording and the drums were mic'd with 4 mics; one was placed in the kickdrum, the other between the snare and the hi-hat and two were used as overheads. The sound is good.
