In 1996, part of this walking bridge suddenly COLLAPSED and has never been restored. That bridge, an identical truss, had served as a direct path to City Island from Front Street in Wormleysburg.
Connecting Riverfront Park to City Island the remaining structure continues to be a popular foot path for locals and commuters. As a kid, my friends and I would often be found wandering on City Island or nearby areas... I rarely enjoy walking on the grated side, which is also to be utilized by pedestrians, but the holes are pretty large.... Be sure to have your keys in a safe spot :)

Oh, and before I forget. I'm really thinking about setting my Flickr account to PRIVATE and exclusive to my current contacts. I spend waaay too much time blocking profiles. Thoughts?
