Brighton starlings

One from the end of December. which was the last time I saw any significant display of the murmuration. Since then I've seen lots of smaller murmurations fly directly to the West Pier or Palace Pier, just before dusk without any aerial ballet. Still early in the season and hoping some good weather will encourage them back out.

 

In the background you can that a left hand side of the remains of the West Pier was damaged in a storm, a couple of months ago.
