Riders on the storm

I arrived very late for the lightning storm that hit the south coast and was rewarded with a heavy downpour but once I dried myself off, I managed to get this photo which was a lot fun trying to shoot. I think the best of it was a little earlier before I arrived, judging by other photos on social media that I've seen of the night. One thing remarkable I found when reviewing this photo, was the white objects sitting on the West Pier, which happen to be gulls riding out the storm.
