54/365 DS339 - Double your art today. Make a photo of something you've created or crafted.
A few years ago, my husband bought me the book "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain." The book is full of pictures that you are to copy to help you learn to draw but the trick is that the picture is upside down, forcing you to use the right side of your brain because the features, etc. in the picture are unfamiliar. This picture is actually with the book upside down. The picture I drew is on the left and the one to be copied is on the right. Granted my proportions are off but considering this was my first attempt, I'm pretty happy with it. It was very strange drawing the picture upside down because I wasn't drawing eyes, hands, fingers, etc. but drawing lines and following curves, etc.
