DAY 157 - How to light a car

I could light the car with eight lights, some would do it with five, others 3, I tried it with one. :) hahaha

 

I didn't have a choice, my other flashgun exploded in Palawan and the studio lights wouldn't fit in the cramped space. (okay so I was a wee bit lazy too) So I used my best flash ever, and lit it the car 8 times and layered it in to get one image.

 

Setup:

(at 1/16 power, zoomed to 70mm)

cam right up high for hood

on axis up top for fill (wide panel on)

cam left for front wheel and fender

cam left cam left for rear wheel

cam left towards back for window reflections and side shape

behind car up top for roof

 

(at 1/4 power zoomed 24mm)

rear seat pointed up

front near gear stick pointed up
