Leiden, Aalmarkt, The Netherlands, August 3, 2009. Red E185, Yellow E. Adult Lesser Black-backed Gull, moulting to winter (basic) plumage; P1 and P2 are fully grown, P3 is almost fully grown, P4 has been dropped. The small white tips on the outer primaries are worn.

Primary moult score:: 15 (P1=5, P2=5, P3=4, P4=1, P5=0, P6=0, P7=0, P8=0, P9=0, P10=0).

Aalmarkt, 3 augustus 2009. Rood E185, Geel E. Adulte Kleine Mantelmeeuw, ruiend naar winterkleed; P1 en P2 zijn volgroeid, P3 is 3/4 volgroeid, P4 mist. De kleine witte punten van de buitenste handpennen zijn gesleten.
