The hole in the wall
The previous owners left a hole in the upstairs bedroom wall, leading into part of the attic. They blocked the hole with a piece of plywood. Probably 30+ years ago. I have lived here for 18 years without fixing it. And now it will be fixed. Here the plywood is gone but there is a big piece of cardboard there to keep the cat out.
