Experiment

I have a bunch of soda bottle caps; the plastic ones. I've collected them for making the cute little felt pin cushions. I looked at one, though, and saw a face. So I gesso'd it and painted and face and then draped this material over it, put in a little stitch and now she's a Halloween decoration. If I can figure out a way of attaching a body, I'd love to use the caps for spirit doll faces.

 

I used a needle to jam some fishing wire through the top so she can be suspended. She twirls.
