Mum and calf
There have been so many common dolphin in the area in recent days. Last Saturday morning, we were swamped by hundreds of dolphins. There was bit of a feeding frenzy going on, lots of dolphins working fish into a tight ball as shearwaters and other sea birds worked the fish from above. There was lots of socialising and banter amongst some male pods and we got a nice look at this new calf! So tiny and with fetal folds very visible, it was probably no more than 2 weeks old.
