Double Rainbow - Yosemite National Park

Imagine driving in to a tunnel that steers you into a deep granite mountain, the other end is but a pinpoint of light. Darkness surrounds you as the road plummets into the rock. The tunnel is long enough that your eyes become used to the dark light and you see the jagged edges of blasted rock surround you. The distance opening slowly grows larger and you have no idea what to expect but it’s bright. Finally you emerge into glorious light that seems almost too intense to be real due in part to the darkness of the tunnel. As your eyes adjust to reveal a canyon unlike any other on Earth is splayed out before you. Vertical rocks much too tall to be real protrude from a dense pine forest skyward and the clouds dance and flow among the rocks. On a stormy

afternoon you are bound to see rainbows wrapping up and over the monoliths that guard the entrance. If you really love landscapes you might just choke up a bit. Yeah, this is Yosemite National Park and you just found Heaven on Earth.

Now just remember, your still driving and you will need to safely park your car.
