Eastern Sierra Glory
On the road up to Lake Lundy there is a small grove of aspen trees that line a small creek and nearly every photographer stops by to take pictures of the colorful grove. This year was no different but the bonus was that the sun shone down illuminating the top of the grove while the storm darkened the skies above the peaks in the distance making for a very dramatic scene. As it began to rain then snow you could really smell the sage beneath your feet. The colorful leaves fluttered in the strong breeze and the storm moved out way. It was the perfect day. At least for those photographers that made it to the grove before the storm moved in.
