Texas & Pacific 610 aka Southern 610
Some days you get a bit of a break...black coal smoke and the Cresent Limited whizzing buy on the southbound track in an elevated shot. Steam was king for me and now wish I had taken a few more of those old diesels as well. A steam fan trip out of Atlanta, GA. I do miss those stream fan trips. Believe this one was to Commerce, Ga. this would have been in the mid 1970's. this was one heck of an engine and could pull a serious string of passenger cars.
