Red Squirrel raiding my feeder (video)

Shot with a Pentax K-7, and some basic stabilization done with Transcode on linux. It's still a bit shaky, but not NEARLY as much as straight out of the camera- 300mm is hard to handhold!

 

Sound recording was disabled.

 

Here is how I deshook the video under Linux:

 

transcode -J stabilize=maxshift=100 -i imgp0067.avi -y null,null -o dummy

transcode -J transform -i imgp0067.avi -y ffmpeg -F mjpeg -o imgp0067_stabilized.avi
