DIY: wm8805 spdif transmitter on usb/i2s lines
converting this box from usb->analog to usb->spdif!
standards-based UAC2 (usb audio class 2) can drive 24bits at 192k samplerate. this is a new high end for usb-spdif converters, for me. works out of the box on linux. with windows, it works at 44k and 16bits.
