DIY: beta22+volumaster in wooden case

overview: the amb.org beta-22 in 3channel config, sigma-22 (dual 30v PSU), and mvc-master, a variant of VOLUmaster software for IR (and local button) remote control.

details: amp section is pure class-A with discrete MOSFET output stages (the black heatsinks in a row on all 3 boards). that is called 'beta 22'.

power supply is the similar looking board to the left (sigma-22). dual tracking 30v DC, very low noise.

in front, left (partial hidden) is the LCDuino-1 which uses an arduino cpu and my own mvc-master firmware (motor volume control). it receives IR from any handheld remote (LCDuino1 is a learning receiver) and performs output switching (phones/speakers), motor/direction control and lights on/dark-mode control. blue button is a bulgin brand 'vandal resistant' touch switch; it can be blue, red or off (software control).

volume control on right is custom; I drilled a hole for the red LED and fed a bit of wire thru a hidden hole in the chassis front panel. that wire goes back to the cpu where it blinks or gets turned on/off, at will. the motor runs at 2 speeds for fast/slow control of the volume.
