what makes this 'pro'? it has balanced inputs as well as consumer level unbalanced (rca) inputs. this is also known as "+4 levels" and "-10 levels" for pro and consumer level. the pro level is 'louder' on the wire. I was hoping my consumer level yamaha home theater receiver would have enough output drive for this via the unbal. inputs. it does! I can get a full room of sound and not even have to get to -20 db on the yamaha input volume knob.
