Day135
GAH! I forgot to send to groups before midnight!!!!! NOT OK!!
Maybe my click worked all along, but if you move your hold down click finger at all on the MacBook Pro, it unclicks. If people like this, I might go back and edit this with a mouse. But it's Friday, and the studio is super stuffy and still smells like dog barfing up vitamins that I took when I had shingles that he then found and well, barfed up.
But I can't edit tomorrow. I need three prints at filmmakers tomorrow and I need to prep photos for the website to go live by MONDAY! Augh!
The person that refused my photos for the grown up event may have done me a favor. Those auction items will only be on display that night. The daytime auction items are going to be in the main lobby of our day care center which also is home to a few other non-profits for an entire week. We have about 160 families, numerous tenants, and all their clients including dance people and music lesson people.
"He" was in the office today. We did not speak. He was also kind of irritated when I did not stop (aka gave the green light) for one of the babies to toddle on in and interrupt his "super serious meeting". Yeah, well sorry, the baby likes to wave goodbye to everyone, and the baby's needs come first. If you want to have a serious conversation, don't do it around the babies.
I also have my second volunteer family photo shoot. Granted, it's with John's boss who is just so super-chill, but she also wants to HIRE me to do their Christmas shots! So we're going to do an emergency "Available for commissioned on site shots" addition to the website. Eventually, kids, location, and event photos will have a different website, but for now, it works. Especially since I'm going to have 160 families looking at my art shots this coming week.
I mentioned this to our program director, and she was like "Well, don't get too many jobs. You don't want to leave HERE." And I teased with her, and she knew that yeah, if this works out, I'm leaving. But she was teasing back in a supportive way. Also, if we have a kid soon AND I'm running a business, I'd need some kind of daycare and it's impossible to find. Oh, and the employee priority and discount. That kind of rocks.
No, I'm not pregnant. I'm wearing a fricking bikini in November even if it kills me. The shingles killed my first opportunity to wear a bikini.
