‘Earth, air, fire and water’, detail

Innocent pot with feature cobalt oxide rim ring that has a delicate fummage (halo) effect. I have depicted a long hot Cornish summers day with the simplest of marks.

Ceramic - grogged terracotta, multi-surfaced and fired to an exacting and necessarily complex system with the emphasis laid on achieving an effect that is more sparkling than crystal.
