Antwerp Zoo (Dutch: ZOO Antwerpen) is a zoo in the centre of Antwerp, Belgium, located next to the Antwerpen-Centraal railway station. It is the oldest animal park in the country, and one of the oldest in the world, established on 21 July 1843.
The zoo counts 5 members of the Western lowland gorilla, silverback Matadi and 2 females Mambele with daughter Vizazi (born 2020) and the other female Mayani withe her daughter Thandie (born 2018). There's aso one Eastern lowland gorilla Amahoro. She was saved from poachers when she was just a little baby and too young to be rehabilitated in another gorilla group.
