Social Media Networking

The social media network is everywhere we turn, facebook, twitter, blogs and much more. Malcolm Gladwell argues against the idea of social media reinventing social activism. He believes social media is build around weak ties and social action requires strong ties to become an essential part of our world. He also believes social media may spread the word about news and create new outlets for information; however when it comes down to actual motivation it depends on the individual social groups that we belong to. Strong friends facilitate strong organizations and initiate our activity. Malcolm Gladwell states, "Let's not take the social media revolution for granted but let's not overhype it either".
