Day 121 /365 Oh my bleeding hearts !! ;-)
I'd hoped to have waved in May 1st with a mahoosive Flag Iris in my garden but the first head to flower opened up in front of our ugly garden archway. So instead I went to great lengths to photo this instead. The 'great lengths' were using every conceivable lens I own from 60mm macro, our 'his 'n hers' 100mm macro right up to my 400mm at full zoom because it's so far back in the border. I was dicing with death ( really? 😅 ) kneeling on soil which my significant better half had just turned over ready to plant another flower. Oh and I also flipped it back to front because my eyes weren't comfy with it facing the other way....
