Thai spirit house

An elaborate Khmer-style prang atop an ornate temple, this is a spirit house, a Thai custom that is found nearly everywhere (see also the "Erawan Shrine" later in this series). The more elaborate the better. This includes offering flower wreaths, incense sticks (in the blue & white bowl, tiny dancers (to the right), and an interior shrine (see "All Sizes" to view original size).
