5 O'Clock Shadow?

I took this just after 2pm in Payne Creek Canyon in Bankhead National Forest. I thought the plants (ferns ?) growing on the rock face were interesting. This is a 3 shot HDR processed in Photomatix Pro. I tried to pull out as much detail as possible hopefully without overdoing it.
