The Churchbuilders Arms
Two Tudor windows in the south porch of St. Nicholas church in Castle Hedingham depict the Arms of the De Vere family, Earls of Oxford for many generations. The De Veres were the ancient Norman family who built the castle itself, and the church in the 12th century. This is a merging of two images through HDR. I wanted viewers to see the details of the stained glass, grooved oak door and handmade iron doorpull as well as texture and colors of the brick and plaster wall inside the darkened porch. I think it turned out pretty well.
