Daredevils Make A Splash

Local boys ranging in age from 10 to 14 cool off in one of the canals that cut through the small northern town of Retford, in Nottinghamshire. They each take turns jumping off the footbridge above the canal that connects the old school on Pelham Road to the park and commons. There are other bridges but this one seems to be the favorite for daredevils and jumpers. The water was not the most pristine looking, so I was content to stand and watch despite sweltering heat on the day.
