Misty Morning in Charlotte

This photo is the first one I took one morning after moving in to our new home in Charlotte, NC. I did not get out much and was physically and mentally exhausted. We had no car, no furniture, no bank account, no jobs, no food in the house, no beds, and no friends. It was a grey day and a stark reminder that we were starting over again in a totally new place. Then the beautiful southern sun came out and illuminated the grey mist that covered the city...and I felt a glimmer of hope begin to grow.
