new life in the forest

A small thing can sometimes mean a lot. This little wood Violet was growing out of a crack on the base of an old moss covered Oak tree in Hatfield Forest, one of the first signs I have seen of Spring arriving after a such a long stretch of rainy weather in eastern England.
