Peripheral Vision

I keep noticing that some of my favorite images are from shots I took on the fly after just barely detecting something with peripheral vision. I think the information from that part of the eye must go to a different part of the brain because it feels more about shape and movement than acuity. Poorly said but you know what I mean. This was one of those shots. I had spent some time doing some very focused work on clouds over a hill. I was just getting back into my car and saw this pair out of the corner of my eye and just had the chance to grab this one before it fell apart.
