The Little Princess Turns Eight

Yesterday was my daughter's 8th birthday.

 

A year ago just after her 7th birthday she told me 'all I want next year is for four big strong guys to carry me on a chair like a princess.'

 

I had just gotten an iPad and I jotted down that little desire of hers on the calendar and set it to remind me 51 weeks later.

 

And then we built this.

 

She was really surprised to see the 'palanquin' there and she immediately remembered telling me last year.

 

She couldn't believe that I remembered it.

 

Princess really enjoyed her ride.
