Duke Homestead

Duke Homestead (1850's) was the home to Washington Duke, a farmer, who created a market for Durham area tobacco products that would eventually turn North Carolina into the heart of a world-wide tobacco empire.

 

This was a lovely place to take part in their Harvest & Hornworm Fall Festival recently.
