Site History. House Architecture: Additions to existing 1833 Greek Revival house by Raleigh Colston Gildersleeve in 1893 and 1900. Landscape: Daniel Webster Langton, from 1893, the year Moses Taylor Pyne purchased the house. Associated Name: Margaretta Stockton (Mrs. Moses Taylor) Pyne. Today: House and remaining garden comprise the offical home of the governor of New Jersey.
