His Ring and Her Ring
Theirs was a 'love story' that took place during World War II. Upon completing his Coast Guard service in the Aleutians, one handsome Georgia boy rushed home to take one lovely Pennsylvania girl as his bride. They were married in September of 1945. This remained constant till she passed in Oct. of last year. They were married 73 years. Now she rests in the Sarasota National Cemetery till he, one day, will join her.
They wrote many happy chapters in their lifetime storybook. These are their wedding rings. They are my parents.
