Portencross Pier
Time for something a bit different.
I don't often shoot landscapes due. This is mainly because it requires bona fide skill and no little patience.
But, of late i've been looking to justify the existence of my camera while simultaneously wanting to get out of the city as much as possible. So, Hazel and I sped off after work one day down to Portencross, our favourite last minute getaway spot outside Glasgow.
I spent a fine few hours taking these shots with a two legged triped (bi-pod?) and an ND filter I had to hold on due to it being the wrong size for the lends.
Regardless, it was a spectacular night and I had a great time plodding about the rocks while Hazel munched on her dinner and read her book up on the walkway. Great stuff.
