the federal regulator - NOPSEMA - has, just 3 days ago, given them environmental approval to proceed
australians simply do not want them to!
this is a proposal that threatens the ecology of one of the most pristine marine landscapes in the world, and any new oilfield will add even more carbon pollution to our already overburdened atmosphere! this is an insane proposal in late 2019, particularly as the eastern seaboard and hills around adelaide are literally burning in massive climate wildfires
