Le Palace Grand
There’s a dinner party in the penthouse tonight!
She is the most luxurious apartment building in the entire city! Sculpted brick by brick in a fine citrus stone, Le Palace Grand (Le Grand Palais) is regal, spacious and charming. Inspired by the apartments of Paris, the masonry features Greek style columns, arches and a great dome peaking beyond the third floor. Like all Café Corner style buildings, this one is also modular separating into four sections with a stairway connecting each floor.
The building stands almost 20 inches tall (a full 7 inches taller than Green Grocer!)
I challenged myself to expand my building skills, thus the dome is a first for me and so is the cafe corner true modular. I thought the orange made it stand out with white and grey. It was intimidating at first but the final result looks pretty good next to my other sets.
