Spreuer Bridge

The Spreuer Bridge (German: Spreuerbrücke) is one of two extant covered wooden footbridges across the Reuss river in the city of Lucerne, Switzerland. It was originally built around 1400 as part of the outer ring of fortifications. It was torn away by the floods of the river in 1566 and subsequently rebuilt.
