While the Daimler/Leyland Fleetline was not a success with London Transport, some being withdrawn and scrapped when only a few years old, ex London Fleetlines were acquired by operators and give sterling service for a number of years.South Wales Transport acquired eight in 1982, along with ex West Midlands PTE VRT's. Former London Fleetline 854 (KUC 935P) is seen at Swansea Docks ferry port on the 15th of August 1986.
