The Fire Pit

After serving us lunch and letting me take lots of photos, she gave us a full on tour of the area where they bury the beans to bake them in the hot sand. The fire is being prepared for beans later in the day.

 

She told us that this particular fire pit can hold up to 16 bean pots at a time.
