Heron Stalking

I went over to the Ballard Locks today, and the great blue herons were flying back and forth looking for nest materials, so I decided to utilize the zoom on my 18-140mm lens. Not perfect, but okay for my first time trying to capture these birds. This one flew right into a tree by where I was standing, but failed to break off any of its branches before moving on.
