He participated in the movement ECOLE DE PARIS with his friends: Soutine, Modigliani, Foujita, Matisse, Orloff, Rivera, Giacometti, Chagall, Zadkine... Gets in 1968 the prestigious Wildenstein prize. One of his sculptures beats the world record for 1964 for a 20th century decorative artwork at $ 4.6M
