I have so many shots of this area that it has been an inner struggle for me to pick just one that I want to post. After narrowing it down to a 10 stop at sunset vs. this night time shot, I chose to put this one up. There is just such a strange marriage of events that slaps the face of reality. The scene was very well lit despite the fact that the sun had set about 20 minutes prior to this. There is an uncanny effervescent glow that stretched across the horizon. City and pier lights warmed up for the night shift. Camera detail is really crazy. You can see the traffic lights all the way in the background change from red to green. The moon decided to make an appearance and the flowers had enough light from the houses behind me and a pathway to the left. The glow was faint to the naked eye but was perfect for the effect I wanted. The clouds even look peculiar like little twisters. There's also a strange sheen on the water. Bizarre scene all around. I'm sure I'll eventually put up all the shots I have of this place but this is all for now. Thanks for looking, commenting, and critiquing.

Edit to add that flickr sharpening creates the noise in the clouds. Looks fine before uploading.
