Northern Alberta spectacle

I went up to my home town of Lac La Biche, Alberta for the weekend and had a great time. I went up for the annual Festival of Speed Ice Races on the lake, but the real show ended up being the incredible northern lights display Saturday night after the races were over.

 

Between shooting at the races in the afternoon and the northern lights at night, I even managed to play a few tunes at the Legion's jam session. What a great weekend!
