Allie and Tail on Perch

Allie was sitting on their perch and her tail was hanging off. I thought it would make a good picture from this angle to show her tail.

 

I did quite a bit of post processing. I left her body unsharpened but masked her eyes and nose and sharpening them. I also increased the saturation of her eyes a little and cleaned up reflections in her pupils. I wanted to subtly bring out her eyes without doing something that looks obvious.

 

Flash was bounced off the ceiling to camera left and behind.
