Where the Mothlight Goes

This image and the song were created for each other—like two echoes of the same dream. If you'd like, you can follow the link and listen while gazing at the artwork. Maybe you'll feel the story they whisper together. Hope you enjoy the moment!

WHERE THE MOTH LIGHT GOES

There’s a light on the edge of the evening sky,

where the echoes of yesterday shimmer and sigh.

I follow the hush where the wild moth goes,

through the door where the moonlight slows.

Step into the hush, let the soft wind know,

we are nothing but embers, just footprints in snow.

Hold on to the fading, the echoing glow,

I will meet you again where the mothlight goes.

A name in the dust on a windowpane,

whispered once, then lost in the rain.

But the stars still hum in the quiet deep,

telling secrets they promised to keep.

So follow the hush where the wild moth goes…

Somewhere, sometime, someone still knows.
