Right, right , my totally Pacific Northwest daughter tells me, it rains in Ohio more than home, I scoff. Yup, it does, in some segments that were described as the Northwest Territories before Thomas Jefferson. 60 mph howling winds and horizontal rain, sometimes tornados, escalating, branch hits the roof with a thud shake, basement starts flooding and its a Chinese fire drill..... Dozens of trees down, electricity out til morning, woke up to a skinny shaft of unicorn light from Munchkin's room, linemen fixed it in the rain. Next day, neighbors check with neighbors, cut trees blocking roads. Truitt did his own thing and snoozed and ate and laughed...
