The heart of the M-ATV is a Caterpillar C8 diesel/electric hybrid engine, developing 400hp. Another unique feature is the second set of rear-hinged 'suicide doors', which can be found on many Oshkosh-designed trucks. Here, two US Marines have flipped up the hood and opened the doors, showing some of the interior details. The engine block itself can also be removed.
