DSC_0102 Norfolk Southern OCS
Raleigh: 10-28-08. Norfolk Southern Office Car Special 4270, 4276, 4271 and 3 coach cars from Altoona PA made a stopped in Raleigh on Mon 10-27-08 and will leave on Wed 10-29-08 en-route to Wilmington NC. Locomotives 4270 and 4271 are General Motors EMD F9A's diesels built in 1952, and 4276 is a F7B built in 1950. They were parked on the wye track on NS's Glenwood yard. Picture taking of these beautiful pieces was restricted as I was on NS property & asked by the NSPD officer not to take pic's.
