Arguably, motorbikes have transformed Asian and Thai culture more than the introduction of any other single item in the last 50 years. Motorbikes are relatively inexpensive and have become the main form of transportation in rural Thailand. It would be hard to imagine how difficult life in rural Thailand would be without the motorbike.
